- BlackBerry has a lot of people to satisfy now, including the Indian govt. The smartphone manufacturer RIM has bowed to the demands of the government to intercept its network messenger service by setting up a server in Mumbai. Guess there is a lot of pleasing to do for RIM in the coming future.
- So what’s wrong (or right) with the new Windows 8 logo ? Is it too simple to be remembered ? or is it so simple, that’s why it’s awesome ? A lot of frenzy going on over the reaction to the logo. But frankly, what’s in a logo ? It’s what the OS can do that matters.
- Cloud storage and sharing, do you think that is too risky ? Talk to Google, Apple and the likes of Dropbox etc, who are trying to prove that wrong. Users are worried, but for now, they are willing to atleast try out these new services.
- Twitter is moving into core advertising business to generate substantial revenue. Inviting small businesses to register for advertising on twitter is a good move.
- Barnes & Nobles might release a new 8GB version of the Nook tablet in order to compete with Amazon’s Kindle Fire. The cost ? What do you think ? It will surely be the same or lower than the Fire.
